  10.        The Web Software Distribution Tool (webdist) creates Web
  11.        pages from which users can install software over the
  12.        network.

  14.        The process involved in creating a Web Software Distribution
  15.        page consists of the following:

  17.           +o Providing an unprotected gggguuuueeeesssstttt account on the Web
  18.             Server host
  19.  
  20.           +o Creating a software distribution directory on the Web
  21.             Server.
  22.  
  23.           +o Exporting the software distribution directory to the
  24.             Web by creating a Web Software Distribution Page.
  25.  
  26.        Webdist guides the user through the entire process, and
  27.        automatically generates the Web Software Distribution Page
  28.        where users can install the software products contained in
  29.        the software distribution directory.

  32.        3.1  _N_o_t_e_s

  34.        Creating the software distribution directory requires rrrrooooooootttt
  35.        access to the host, and the user is reponsible for moving
  36.        the new page to the appropriate location in the document
  37.        directories.

  55.        the HTML for the Web software distribution page, and can be
